Dappled Light

As you picnic in the forest, light dances through the tree canopy overhead creating a collage of light and dark . In one moment, you are kissed by yellow sunshine; in the next, the dark hues of shadow takes over.

Dappled light is a play on the neutral of sun and shadow in the summertime. Whether through the leaves blocking the sun, or the sheer curtains gently undulating in the warm breeze coming in through the windows. So much of summer is sun. 

Dappled Light is a variegated colorway in our upcoming Collection of Whimsy. It is a many layered blend of creams, champagnes, tans, and yellows. The goal was to create a colorway that plays on the way sun and shade marry together during the heat of summer.

All skeins are hand-dyed with care in a smoke-free and pet-free home. Please note that while all skeins are dyed together, every skein of yarn is unique and there may be some slight variation between them. After dyeing, all yarn is washed and rinsed thoroughly, however, a small amount of color bleeding may still occur during the first wash.  

For best care, please gently hand wash in cold water with a wool wash and lay flat to dry. Store yarn in an area away from direct sunlight to help maintain color.

All photographs are taken in natural light, and I try to keep the editing to a minimum, but colors may vary from monitor to monitor. 

The wool used in this yarn is ethically produced from sheep that have NOT been mulesed.
